Fundraising Valentine’s Day: a. Contact Schools, Churches and/or other Organizations for the opportunity for them to sell Candy Grams. Limit the wrapper choices to 3 or 4. Make flyers (sample on website) for them to had out and take orders; a portion of the proceeds will benefit the organization. They could also set up a table and have the wrappers available for handwritten personalized by the person purchasing the bar. The wrappers can then be made into a bar at that time or pre orders could be taken. The second option will be less work on you and the same amount of profit margin.
Easter: b. Many Churches sell Easter Lilies in Honor of someone. The church or an organization within the church could sell the bars with bar holder to be placed in the lily at time of pick up. It would offer a nice option to those purchasing and a nice reminder of the honor someone received.
Mother’s Day c. Target Preschools and Sunday school classes to market Mother’s day Bars. Make an order form with a few styles of wrappers for the Fathers or students to choose from. Deliver the final product back to the school so they can give them to the child the Friday before Mother’s day to take home. This makes the child more involved in the gift selection process.
Graduation d. Look towards the PTA/PTO organizations or to the teacher sponsor or parent volunteer for Project Graduation. They are always looking for fundraisers to support this special night out.
Teacher appreciation e. What a great way to say thank you – give an extra bonus to this fundraiser. A school can offer bars with a nice message that states a donation ($5.00) was given in the honor of a particular teacher. The money can go to a general fund or towards Tech. etc. The bars are made and delivered to the school and placed in the teachers boxes or could be handed to the student’s to deliver the Sweet gift themselves. If many bars are given to one teacher you may want to offer a bar assortment and make it into a basket.
Father’s Day f. Target Preschools and Sunday school classes to market Father’s day Bars. Make an order form with a few styles of wrappers for the Fathers or students to choose from.
